We're replacing our speech textbooks next year, and I need to order samples. Right now we're using The Basics of Speech by Galvin et. al. w/ 1994 c date. Our speech class is one semester, required for graduation aimed at sophomore level. Therefore, our text has to be accessible to everybody from the top genius to the SPED kids. The focus is on public speaking because interpersonal is covered in other parts of our curriculum. I make performance, not textbook assignments, the focus of the class, but we do need some kind of text for basic terms. Any suggestions? Post here, or preferably e-mail choward@esu15.org
